I was introduced to the world of sound design through YouTube. I hadn't paid any thought to it when I watched cool movies or TV shows. One of my favorite YouTubers as a child (and still to this day) had made a few short films of his own and talked about the process he went through. He touched on how he did the sounds for a tree being cut down, which I thought was so fascinating. That experience was one of the few reasons that led me down the path I am on today.

As for video/film editing, I was introduced to it through the movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The DVD I owned had special features such as the director of the film taking you through the process of creating the movie. When he got to the editing area, I knew I wanted to create and design works like the editors were doing.
